4 Houses at Drinkwater Park

This scheme comprises the addition of four contemporary designed houses on a former waste transfer site near to the centre of Prestwich Village, Manchester. The previously utilised brownfield site is located in a beautiful woodland setting adjacent to Drinkwater Park, Agecroft. The four houses will be constructed of fairfaced in-situ concrete, with core ten steel cladding panels which are reminiscent of the concrete and steel retaining structures which formed the former waste amenity site.

The houses have been sited to reflect the former saw tooth pattern of the waste transfer site, with the houses being set in to the landscape to reduce their overall impact on the Greenbelt site with stunning views over Drinkwater Park from the upper lounge areas and rooftop gardens.
